The graphics on this game were terrible, the sound was grating, the gameplay awful, and the controls were messed up for what should be easy part. W,A,S,D for movement. J for shoot,K for jump, L for grenades

I don't like that the enemies are almost always able to get the jump on you but I guess that's why you have 100 lives, and the aforementioned problem makes it a chore to hold on to a weapon. other than that I never have had so much fun whacking small children and angst ridden teens with a plastic shovel.

It had worse dialogue than the original Resident evil (and that is saying something) and it used dumb jokes that I find in those 'parody' movies that someone in hollywood releases every 3 months nowadays. I'm sorry if your dreams are like this, you honestly have my condolences.

"It's not really like Metal slug at all....."

It struck me of more as a part of the thing thing series back before it got into the whole Arena part, you know when it started out. you might want to include a Melee attack and enemies that are easier if you want it to be compared to Metal Slug (Which I would think is a mistake since Metal slug sets the bar pretty high). I have to applaud you though for not using the regenerating health that shooter games just love nowadays.

Sure it is simplistic but the characters are fun enough to make their death fun.. If there was a second one I would recommend you give multiple playable characters

This is a good game but I guess the previous thing thing games set my sights too high for this one, on every level the action just seemed to stop and wait for you to kill X number of soldiers until going to the next piece of sewer pipe. Also there are too many on the screen lending to the 'spray and pray' tactic be far more useful then any actual strategy because with the former your bullets are destined to find some hapless target. not great but not horrible, just boring.

a simple formula that you have built well upon. It was the best Zombie/Defense game I have played on newgrounds so far... the only thing I didn't like is how the survivors remained nameless instead of feeling like real people i rescued they felt like this game's version of turrets.

the graphics are horrible, the sound consists of little blips and screams, the style is simple and stupid, this game is all in all tasteless and it still would be tasteless even if it was not a V-tech game
